Five people have been shot at a school in central Sweden, according to the police.
The shooting occurred in Örebro, which is located 200km (124m) west of Stockholm, on Tuesday afternoon.
The police stated that the extent of the injuries is currently unknown.
The incident occurred before 13:00 local time, and authorities are advising residents to avoid the school.
According to a police statement, This is currently being investigated as an attempted murder, arson, and aggravated weapons offense.
The shooting seems to have taken place at a Komvux, an adult education center typically attended by individuals who did not complete primary or secondary school.
As a precautionary measure, police are keeping students at nearby schools indoors for security reasons.
