LONDON, Feb 6 (Reuters) - Britain summoned the Russian ambassador to London on Thursday for a meeting with a senior British official to withdraw the accreditation of a Russian diplomat.
The Foreign Office stated, This action is a response to Russia's unwarranted and groundless decision to revoke the accreditation of a British diplomat in Moscow back in November.
The statement also warned, Any additional steps by Russia will be viewed as an escalation and met with a corresponding response.
