On Friday, Slovakia banned a Georgian military volunteer, Mamuka Mamulashvili, and nine others from entering the country, citing his alleged involvement in a plot to overthrow the government. Prime Minister Robert Fico accused Mamulashvili, the commander of the Georgian Legion fighting in Ukraine, of participating in plans to depose him through public protests.

Fico stated, We can confirm that, in the background of organizing protests in Slovakia...is the Georgian National Legion. The Prime Minister, who has a pro-Russian stance on the Ukraine conflict, has faced opposition and protests concerning his policies that have strained relations with Western allies and domestic factions.

Accusations of connections between Mamulashvili and the protests in Slovakia were denied by the activist, who rejected any involvement in the protests. Another group, Mier Ukrajine, also discredited the allegations, calling them a "lie and manipulation." Interior Minister Matus Sutaj Estok reported that aside from the banned individuals, one Ukrainian national had been detained with expulsion procedures initiated.

Activists from the Nie v Nasom Meste group, known for organizing protests, have refuted claims of planning any unlawful activities.
